The Muslim community in Sarajevo and CHwB have restored the wall paintings.
Cultural Heritage without Borders and the Muslim community in Sarajevo have finalized the restoration and conservation of wall paintings in the Ferhadija Mosque in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This task, begun in 2011, was the first major non-development assistance-funded project assigned to Cultural Heritage without Borders. The project has at the same time increased and strengthened the capacity in conservation practice of young professionals in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The mosque was inaugurated the 9th of July 2013.
