CHwB awarded for international cooperation in Western Balkan

CHwB-awarded
Lejla Hadzic, head of CHwB Albania office, receives the Grand Award by the Society of Conservation in Serbia.

Cultural Heritage without Borders has received recognition of its work. CHwB  received a Grand award by the Society of Conservators in Serbia for as they say:

”Exceptional contribution of immovable cultural heritage ans immaterial patrimony, popularization of diverse cultural heritage of Serbia, and especially for development of international cooperation in connecting different actors in the process of protection of cultural heritage in its entirety”.

CHwB was nominated by Bosiljka Tomasevic, our key partner and a chief architect at the Republic Institute for Protection of Monuments in Serbia.
This is the first time they are giving the award for someone outside Serbia, and its for CHwB work with regional restoration camps, vernacular heritage and the social and economical development of Negotin wine cellars.

This is a fantastic proof of healthy relations both in regional terms and in terms of Governmental/Non-Governmental efforts in the area of cultural heritage. The achievements in the area would never be possible without the continuous support from Embassy of Sweden in Albania and in Serbia Thank you Bosiljka Tomasevic and Republic Institute! Thank you and to all Serbian and Kosovan craftspeople and all our great experts without whom as well this would never be possible!
